Classical Saxophone CDs Online

About Us

The founder of this site, Jeff Stepien, holds degrees from Ithaca College (B.M. Music Education '01) and the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (M.M. Saxophone Performance '06) and is a saxophonist himself. Currently he teaches 4th, 5th, and 6th grade instrumental music (band) in three schools in the Washington Elementary School District #6. He performs both classical and jazz (as well as rock, blues, and everything in between), and has always been frustrated trying to find classical saxophone CDs. Let's face it, when's the last time you saw a classical saxophone CD at your local music store? Hardly ever - as a result, this site came about as both enjoyment in finding more classical saxophone recordings and a service to saxophonists and saxophone enthusiasts all over. It is our goal to increase the availability and ease of finding classical saxophone recordings as well as to increase the viability of the saxophone as an instrument in the classical idiom.

Jeff is a member of NYSSMA, MENC, AFT, and NYSUT.
